Pick up the Bar and Get Your Love On

So Valentine's Day is coming up...

.

No better date than a gym date, right?!!

.

Okay, hear me out. This should be a relationship goal for EVERYONE...

.

WHY you ask??

.

Well besides the obvious effects of living a healthier, more active lifestyle...the physical and mental awareness of one another's body and mind, the two-way communication required, the focus on one another as you help each other with your movements, goals, motivation, and challenges. The proximity of your partner while spotting them at the bench vs. the proximity of your partner while he is on the couch and you are in the chair, or when you are both focused on the kids and rarely each other, the scenarios are endless with the busyness of our lives...

.

We need more playfulness, focus, investment, and awareness of one another, mentally and physically. Just the activity, communication, and "hands on" required during this type of date is more intimate and exciting than most other date nights when you are out in public. Not to mention the "love" effect on men and women both when the increased testosterone develops from consistent weight and resistance training.

.

We always hear and talk about how important it is for couples to have things in common and to keep this playfulness and attention alive. So what better way than improving your health and your connection than playing in the gym? Give it a try.

.

If you and or your partner have never ventured into the gym before and are intimidated by it. Give me a call, I'd love to introduce you to the world of "couples training". So GOOD!!
